Why exercise alone? It’s boring, lonely, and it’s much harder to stay motivated five to six days a week at the gym. Music improves the situation, but it doesn’t replace the company you gain from a workout partner or group of people to interact with.

How many times have you asked a buddy to work out with you, only to get shot down by their excuses? Here are 10 commonly used excuses, with rebuttals. Hopefully after a little more persuasion, you can get their a$$ in the gym!
Greetings from the VIVO 360° Team!
First off, we would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to have an even better 2013.
If you have the chance to work out - but are debating if you should ... always go! Unless of course, it’s your recovery day or you are injured. There's nothing to debate - get your workout in! Not only will you feel amazing after - but you will also be one step closer to achieving the lean body you want! One excellent way to fit in a workout is by doing it early in the morning. When it’s the first thing in your day, you don’t have a chance to make up excuses or run into other obligations that would detract from your workout.
Everyone has “good” and “bad” days. It’s usually a lot easier to workout and eat clean when you are having a “good” day. This following scenario has probably happened to you before: You push yourself hard at the gym, and prepare your meals ahead of time to stay on schedule. Then ‘life happens’ - something goes wrong; a car breaks down or you’re put into a stressful situation. What do you do? Do you throw your fitness regimen aside? Do you, give up and start eating cheeseburgers and ice cream? You better not! Keeping your body AND mind active is more important than you might realize.
Feeling stressed out lately? You probably already know that exercise is one of the best ways to reduce and get rid of stress; but what are some other ways you achieve mental stability? In today’s day and age, it’s pretty easy to get stressed out and overworked. Job stress, relationships, and kids are just some of the life’s everyday stressors. Throw in lack of sleep and junk food and you have a recipe for disaster. But before you spin out of control, why not take a deep breath?
I get asked all the time by women - “What do I need to do to lose weight? I do cardio sometimes, but don’t really lift much. I want to get rid of my love handles, work on my core, and get my glutes tighter, but don’t want to lose anything in this area….”
For some of us, the hardest thing about working out is getting to the gym and really motivating ourselves to start working out. Use these 3 tips to help motivate yourself for your next workout.
