Protein Pancake Recipe - Build Muscle & Fight Unhealthy Evening Snacking

We have all heard the saying, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” Have you heard that a breakfast rich in proteins may also prevent unhealthy evening snacking? According to a study done by Heather Leidy, “eating a breakfast rich in protein significantly improves appetite control and reduces unhealthy snacking on high-fat or high-sugar foods in the evening”.1  

In her study, the participants consumed a breakfast that had 35 grams of protein. This simple, quick, and easy recipe is loaded with 40 grams of premium protein so you can fight the protein pancakes - syngexunhealthy urge in the evening!

You will need:

  • 4 egg whites

  • 1 scoop of Syngex® Protein

  • 2 tsp. Splenda

  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp Natural peanut butter

Mix the Syngex® Protein Powder and egg whites until well blended and the mixture is smooth. Add Splenda and cinnamon.  Pour mixture into a preheated, medium-size non-stick skillet. Cook until deliciously golden brown, flipping once. Spread 1 teaspoon of natural peanut butter on top. These healthy pancakes contain 40 grams of protein and only 10 grams of carbs - a healthy and TASTY way to start your muscle-building day!
